Our online storage auctions have a smooth close. All offers within the last minute extend the closing time by 2 minutes. The last bidder willing to offer the most wins the auction. Additional cash deposits on all units won will be refunded once all items have been removed and the facility manager has visually verified that the unit has been completely emptied and cleaned to the facility manager's satisfaction.
Payment and conditions for claiming the locker
Buyers must be 18 years of age to bid. Full payment must be received in person within 24 hours of auction close. If the auction is not claimed within 24 hours, the winner forfeits their bid and the next bidder may be selected. Call 515-446-9701 to arrange payment and collection. The full amount is payable only in person at the facility. WE ACCEPT CASH, DEBIT AND CREDIT CARD. A refundable deposit in cash or other method (depending on the Storage Manager) is also required to ensure that the storage unit is fully vacated within 48 hours. Some operators, e.g. Public storage allows 72 hours to delete items. Contact the facility manager for the exact time. The deposit will not be refunded until the storage area has been emptied and cleaned to the satisfaction of the facility manager. If you do not bring a cash deposit, the facility manager may deny you access to storage space. All sales plus tax, if any, are FINAL and no refunds are allowed. Some facilities do not accept exempt sales licenses or resale certificates. Call to confirm policy.

Rental;
If the winning bidder is unable to vacate the unit and chooses to rent the space, they will not be eligible for any available discounts or promotions. It is at the discretion of the Storage Company if they want to offer a special move.
All vehicles are sold as is and where is. No cash back!! The seller may or may not have the legal title to the vehicle. When you bid on a vehicle, you, the buyer, agree to these terms. It is recommended that you always check with your local driver's license office prior to bidding regarding the ownership and title transfer process.
At certain storage facilities, subject to state lien laws, any vehicles in the storage facility will be towed and not subject to auction. The seller may or may not have legal title to the vehicle, and a local towing company will remove the vehicle and take responsibility for the impound. Please call the storage facility to confirm before bidding.
Collection and removal
Content must be ENTIRELY retrieved. Clean the storage area completely, close it within 48 hours of the auction and clean it to the satisfaction of the premises. If ANY content is left behind, the deposit will not be refunded. Failure to remove ALL items from a earned unit may result in the deactivation of your account
Hours of access
Access for the winning bidder is limited to business hours at that location. The Contestant is not allowed to enter the lot without an employee of the Warehouse present.
Installation DOES NOT PROVIDE REMOVAL of any kind. We do not allow the use of our waste containers. It is the winner's responsibility to remove all content from our property and arrange for removal at their own expense. If you wish to rent the unit you bought at public sale, the service manager can help you. Smoking is prohibited on the premises, please respect the property, managers and other tenants at all times or you will be asked to leave the premises.

Know your username
When you go to pay and collect your purchased content, you must be able to tell the storage facility operator your username to verify your account and the unit you purchased. Your username is the one you choose during registration and which you log in with.
Photo ID must be presented at the facility. Only the registrant who won the auction is allowed to pick up the locker. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Closing auction
When the auction closes, you will be notified immediately by email if you won the auction.

Notice to Buyers: This is to inform buyers prior to the sale that:
FAILURE TO CLAIM A WINNING UNIT WILL RESULT IN BANNING FROM IBID4STORAGE.
Storage Site reserves the right to end the auction at any time during the bidding period. If a tenant pays the balance due by the end of the auction, the auction must be removed by law.
By submitting an offer, the buyer enters into a legally binding contract. If the winning buyer does not honor the offer and pay for the content purchased, charges will apply, up to the value of the bid submitted.
This Storage Site reserves the right to cancel a sale if, in the Storage Site's judgment, the bids are unreasonable or if the renter pays and repurchases the unit before the auction closes.
Buyer acknowledges that they are bidding on all items in the unit and that all items must be removed and the unit cleaned. If the Buyer does not remove all items or leave the unit clean, the Storage Location may charge the Buyer for the cost of removing such items and/or cleaning the unit.
The Buyer must remove all goods within 48 hours or the goods will become the property of the Storage Site unless the Buyer makes appropriate arrangements or signs an agreement for the unit in question and pays the current monthly rent in full. Failure to remove all goods or sign an agreement will result in the Buyer having to pay a disposal fee. Buyer is responsible for insuring the unit containing such property during the 48 hour period.
It is the Buyer's responsibility to promptly return all personal property, documents, photographs, legal documents, tax returns, bank statements, etc. in the storage location for future return to the lessee. If the buyer finds illegal equipment, firearms or any item deemed illegal, it is the buyer's responsibility to declare and report the purchased items to the local police.
The Buyer acknowledges that in some cases the Storage Site may contact the Buyer and request the repurchase of certain items to avoid legal action against such lessee, the Buyer also agrees to sell such items to the Storage Site for (a) the cost at which the Buyer purchased such items plus (b) all reasonable actual costs incurred by the Buyer in respect of such items.
This agreement applies to this and all future sales that Buyer attends with a Self Storage facility listed on iBid4storage.com. The Storage Facility reserves the right to refuse bids to a Buyer in future auctions for non-compliance with these rules or for any other unacceptable behavior during the auction process.
